1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is handled on HyperGame.Dev. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
2. Information We Collect
- Information You Provide: Form data for queue submissions (name, email, project details) and newsletter opt-ins. Note: Site administrators can view and manage all queue entries.
- Patreon Metadata: If you log in via Patreon, we receive information from your Patreon account as permitted by the scopes you authorize during login. This may include your username, profile picture, subscription details, and other membership data provided by Patreon's OAuth service. This data is used to authenticate your session and improve your experience of the site.
- Cookies: If you opt-in to "Remember Me," we store a secure, HTTP-only session cookie. We also use functional cookies for site performance and embedded media.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To manage livestream queues and verify Patreon tiers for content access.
- To improve your experience of the site based on Patreon account information provided during login.
- To send newsletters or updates outside of Patreon (only if you explicitly opt-in).
- To respond to inquiries and improve site security.
4. Data Retention
- Queue Data: Stored in Netlify Blobs and automatically deleted within 30 days of submission.
- Newsletter Data: Your email is retained until you unsubscribe via the provided link or contact form.
- Session Data: Account metadata is retained only while the session is active or until you log out. Patreon Account Data: Membership information retrieved via Patreon OAuth is retained to improve your experience of the site and deleted when no longer necessary for that purpose.
5. Third-Party Services
- Patreon: Used for identity verification. Privacy Policy.
- YouTube, Twitch & Patreon: We may embed content from these services; they may use cookies to track viewing behavior.
- Netlify: Used for hosting and data storage (Blobs). Privacy Policy.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR/CCPA, you may request data access or deletion via our Contact Form. Since queue data auto-deletes after 30 days, most requests will pertain to active newsletter subscriptions or current login sessions.
